And is there anything cuter than a snowball in pajamas? No? Well, there you go. <\/p>\n<p><strong><a href=\"http:\/\/rovingfiddlehead.com\/kidlit\/?p=1510\" title=\"Bad Case of Stripes Folder Story\" target=\"_blank\">Bad Case of Stripes Folder Story<\/a><\/strong><br \/>\nAndrea at Roving Fiddlehead Kidlit is not quite started on a great idea for turning David Shannon&#8217;s Bad Case of Stripes into a folder story, but her paper looks super and I can&#8217;t wait to see it when it&#8217;s done.<\/p>\n<p><strong><a href=\"http:\/\/valleystorytime.wordpress.com\/2012\/01\/20\/flannel-friday-trains\/\" title=\"Trains\" target=\"_blank\">Trains<\/a><\/strong><br \/>\nAnna at Valley Storytime takes a pattern I designed for train cars and makes it her own (and better!) with her super cheerful interpretation. The clean design of these images really makes them shine! (And that BEAR FACE! *swoons*)<\/p>\n<p><strong><a href=\"http:\/\/librarystorytimeabcs.blogspot.com\/2012\/01\/flannel-friday-little-red-valentine.html\" title=\"Little Red Valentine\" target=\"_blank\">Little Red Valentine<\/a><\/strong><br \/>\nK at Storytime ABC&#8217;s has a WHOLE BUNCH of ideas for what you can do with your storytime kids and a simple set of colored hearts. <\/p>\n<p><strong><a href=\"http:\/\/mystorytimelife.blogspot.com\/2012\/01\/flannel-friday-birthday-birthday.html\" title=\"Happy Birthday Flannel Friday\" target=\"_blank\">Happy Birthday Flannel Friday!<\/a><\/strong><br \/>\nKari at My Storytime Life has a guessing game that fits PERFECTLY with our anniversary party, with mouse hiding behind a set of wrapped presents! I love her mixed media approach&#8211;her flannels are made out of felt and printed paper.<\/p>\n<p><strong><a href=\"http:\/\/thestorytimelady.wordpress.com\/2012\/01\/20\/mouse-paint-in-a-box\/\" title=\"Mouse Paint\" target=\"_blank\">Mouse Paint (In a Box!)<\/a><\/strong><br \/>\nKatie at Recipe for Reading made a really effective version of Mouse Paint&#8211;with bright colored foam pieces&#8211;that she tells using a story box prop instead of a flannelboard. Go read about the storytime magic that crept into the room when she used this! <\/p>\n<p><strong><a href=\"http:\/\/storytimekatie.com\/2012\/01\/20\/flannel-friday-mittens\/\" title=\"Mittens!\" target=\"_blank\">Mittens!<\/a><\/strong><br \/>\nKatie at Storytime Katie shows us her take on the matching mittens game. LOOK at all those great color-and-shape combinations! And pinching clothespins is such a great fine-motor activity for little kids. <\/p>\n<p><strong><a href=\"http:\/\/storytimesecrets.blogspot.com\/2012\/01\/flannel-friday-winter-post-2-snowflakes.html\" title=\"Snowflakes\" target=\"_blank\">Snowflakes<\/a><\/strong><br \/>\nKatie at Storytime Secrets shows us her snowflakes and has a few rhyme ideas&#8211;including her own original rhyme!&#8211;to use them with. They look like they would flutter very satisfactorily down to the ground! Bonus: She shares the free clip art link she used to find the snowflake patterns. (It&#8217;s a new site to me, so thanks Katie!)<\/p>\n<p><strong><a href=\"http:\/\/meusenotes.blogspot.com\/2012\/01\/amazon-theater-2-bird-and-trees.html\" title=\"The Bird and the Trees\" target=\"_blank\">The Bird and the Trees<\/a><\/strong><br \/>\nLinda at Notes from the Story Room sets up a prop story on her &#8220;Amazon Theatre&#8221; (go see what it is!). I so appreciate Linda being such an advocate for folktales and told stories. <\/p>\n<p><strong><a href=\"http:\/\/libraryladystorytimes.blogspot.com\/2012\/01\/real-flannel-friday-its-not-just-for.html\" title=\"Not Just for Storytime\" target=\"_blank\">Not Just for Storytime!<\/a><\/strong><br \/>\nLisa at Storytime with the Library Lady made her own flannelboard (it looks really sturdy) and created a set of basic felt shapes for families to use for free play when they visit the library&#8230;and it got great use the first day she had it out! <\/p>\n<p><strong><a href=\"http:\/\/inthechildrensroom.blogspot.com\/2012\/01\/flannel-friday-i-had-little-rooster.html\" title=\"I Had a Little Rooster\" target=\"_blank\">I Had a Little Rooster<\/a><\/strong><br \/>\nLucy at In the Children&#8217;s Room brings a little rootsy Pete Seeger into her storytime! Plus the next tree I make is going to look like her Greenberry Tree.<\/p>\n<p><strong><a href=\"http:\/\/missmaryliberry.wordpress.com\/2012\/01\/20\/happy-anniversary-flannel-friday\/\" title=\"Happy Anniversary Flannel Friday\" target=\"_blank\">Happy Anniversary Flannel Friday!<\/a><\/strong><br \/>\nMary at Miss Mary Liberry takes us back to her very first Flannel Friday post last March! Those feet look very tickle-able. This would be a fresh addition to a Bedtime or Nighttime theme. <\/p>\n<p><strong><a href=\"http:\/\/1234morestorytimes.wordpress.com\/2012\/01\/20\/flannel-friday-whos-behind-the-barn-door\/\" title=\"Who's Behind the Barn Door?\" target=\"_blank\">Who&#8217;s Behind the Barn Door?<\/a><\/strong><br \/>\nTracey at 1234 More Storytimes has a simple but effective farm animal guessing game for the younger kids.
