This week I\u2019m finally posting my belated thanks. Each day I will highlight one of the great blogs from the tour, link to what they wrote for the tour, as well as some posts I like from each blog. <\/em><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/melissa.depperfamily.net\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/01\/FutureLibrarianSuperhero.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/melissa.depperfamily.net\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/01\/FutureLibrarianSuperhero.jpg\" alt=\"FutureLibrarianSuperhero\" width=\"802\" height=\"250\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-5215\" srcset=\"http:\/\/melissa.depperfamily.net\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/01\/FutureLibrarianSuperhero.jpg 802w, http:\/\/melissa.depperfamily.net\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/01\/FutureLibrarianSuperhero-300x93.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 802px) 100vw, 802px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Anna at <a href=\"http:\/\/www.futurelibrariansuperhero.com\/ \" title=\"Future Librarian Superhero\">Future Librarian Superhero<\/a> wrote the last post for the blog tour, for <a href=\"http:\/\/www.futurelibrariansuperhero.com\/2013\/10\/clel-bell-awards-play.html\" title=\"Future Librarian Superhero: Bell Awards PLAY\">PLAY<\/a>. <\/p>\n<p>Anna has worked at both large urban and small rural libraries, and I think this has given her the ability to think critically about a broad spectrum of issues&#8211;she sees that youth services includes storytime\/programming\/collection development, of course, but also how we <a href=\"http:\/\/www.futurelibrariansuperhero.com\/2013\/02\/childrens-area-makeover.html\" title=\"Future Librarian Superhero: Childrens' Area Makeover\">organize our children&#8217;s spaces<\/a> and <a href=\"http:\/\/www.futurelibrariansuperhero.com\/2013\/11\/facelift.html\" title=\"Future Librarian Superhero: Facelift \">how children interact with the library<\/a> outside of those children&#8217;s spaces. <\/p>\n<p>I especially appreciate that Anna shares her individual approaches to youth services practice: it&#8217;s so helpful for us to hear that there is not just one way to do this work, and to see that finding what works for us will take trial and error&#8230;whether we are <a href=\"http:\/\/www.futurelibrariansuperhero.com\/2013\/03\/sing-sing-sing.html\" title=\"Future Librarian Superhero: Sing Sing Sing\">learning how to sing in storytime <\/a>or to develop a <a href=\"http:\/\/www.futurelibrariansuperhero.com\/2013\/09\/program-planning-and-perfectionist.html\" title=\"Future Librarian Superhero: Program Planning and the Perfectionist Personality\">workable process for program planning<\/a>.    <\/p>\n<p>Thank you, Anna! <\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Last fall 5 children\u2019s library bloggers generously donated their time and blogs to help promote the new Bell Awards by talking about books they liked for each of the five Bell Award categories.
