  1. You made me laugh out loud! My sides hurt. Sorry but ALL.THE.THINGS! I’m pinning this to my management board.

  2. KathyK says:

Congratulations on your promotion! I do miss your posts but few is better than none, I think.

  3. Jessica says:

    I like number 13.
I am just starting a new job myself in a similar vein so I’ll send you some virtual gluten free chocolate chip biscuits to enjoy while watching people be murdered…

  4. Mari Nowitz says:

You are a rock star! You have a LOT on your plate, my friend. I’m sending you a big virtual hug! Make sure those daughters and your sweetie give you lots of in-person hugs, too. I find that often helps my work exhaustion. 🙂

Thank you ladies! To add insult to injury, I couldn’t reply to comments for most of this week until I finally had a minute to reinstall my WordPress…so now I am catching up:

Marge, I have since updated the schedule AGAIN.

Kathy, thank you! I am excited about the new job and figure that it just means I will have even more fodder for blog posts once I get going.

Jessica, congrats on YOUR job, and I have a policy of always accepting cookies, virtual or no! Good luck!

Mari, you’re the best! Family time is always a plus. Thanks for the hug and I can’t wait to get a real one in September!

  6. Angela Dubinger says:

Mel, I must ‘sit’ with you and commiserate, for I’ve always wanted to share a blog and do the things you do here, but at the same time…BOY do I UNDERSTAND what you’re going through. Best wishes and thanks for all you do to help the librarians!

  7. Melissa says:

Angela, best wishes to YOU! I’m lucky to have so many colleagues who have been there & can support & advise me! It’s not going to be so new for much longer, and I’m already thinking what blog posts to start drafting again!
